Fiat Currency

Money

Image by Thomas Hawk via Flickr

Fiat currency is a global system that allows banks to “spin money” and huge profits “out of thin air”.

This video offers a good introduction and explanation to the concept of fiat currency:

Rightly or wrongly, Google gets some criticism for spying.  But here’s something from Google that’s both good and pretty amazing:  the Dead Sea Scrolls are now online.

NASA Condition Chart Predicts ASTEROID COLLISION on 9-29-11

Here’s something may inspire a little nervous laughter for today and tomorrow.  The video might be a hoax, but it seems legit.

The size of the asteroid is not known to me.  However, according to NASA, ”A collision is certain”.

PS.  September 29th:  Never mind . . .

NASA has revised it to non-impact, condition code 7.  That happened in the wee morning hours.

Today’s Radio Interview with James Martinez

Version of the flag of Animalism, in Animal Fa...

Image via Wikipedia

I was originally scheduled to be interviewed by James Martinez on on his California radio show on, September 22nd.  I posted a text virtually identical to this one on the 22nd that included links to the subject matter I expected to talk about on that interview.  This collection of links was intended as a convenience for Mr. Martinez’s audience.  If they were curious about any of the allegations I made on the radio interview, they could visit this one blog entry for links to supporting evidence or article.

Unfortunately, that radio interview did not take place on the 22nd, but was rescheduled for today (September 27th) at 2:00 PM central.

So, once again, as a convenience to Mr. Martinez’s audience I am republishing those links with this blog entry.

U.S. Inc.

An upside-down U.S. flag at a Washington, D.C....

Image via Wikipedia

Here’s a 15 minute video of a woman (I wish I knew who she was) outlining much of the problem we have with what passes for “government”.  She cites a lot of evidence to support her conclusions.  And she displays her passion for liberty and anger and hatred for the treasonous whores in our “government” who presume to have reduced us to the status of slaves, animals and “things”.

Good evidence.  Great passion.   She knows she’s right.  Her evidence inspires her passion.

The natives are not only restless–they are educating themselves.

Trader says Eurozone Market will crash

Logo of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. Category...

Image via Wikipedia

Stock trader Alessio Rastani was interviewed on BBC today.  He advised–without the least trace of self-doubt–that, “This economic crisis is like a cancer, if you just wait and wait hoping it is going to go away, just like a cancer it is going to grow and it will be too late!”.

He admits to dreaming of yet another recession as another opportunity for him to get rich.  He implies that governments are impotent to solve the economic problems, that Goldman Sachs rules the world, and predicts that within the next 12 months millions of people will see their savings wiped out.

The man is so candid, it’s hard to believe he’s speaking on mainstream media.  I doubt that he’ll be invited back.  I can’t help wondering if he might be “disappeared” for being so honest.

The interview is so fantastic that some people believed it must’ve been a hoax.  As a result, the day after the interview, the BBC issued the following statement:

“We’ve carried out detailed investigations and can’t find any evidence to suggest that the interview with Alessio Rastani was a hoax. He is an independent market trader and one of a range of voices we’ve had on air to talk about the recession.”

The Transition from Credit to Savings

Great Depression Bread Line

I’m convinced that we’re headed towards a global and national “Greater Depression”.

More, I’m increasingly convinced that a fundamental attribute—perhaps cause—for the coming depression will be the transition from an economy based on credit to an economy based on savings.

As we transit from an economy based on credit (spending our future income) to an economy based on savings (spending our past income), there will necessarily be an intermediate period of several years wherein many will have virtually no credit and virtually no savings—and are thus destitute and unable to buy or sell much of anything.

That intermediate period (wherein we no longer have credit and don’t yet have savings) will mark the dangerous and chaotic bottom of the coming depression.

The Story of Your Enslavement

Caricature Slavery 1738

Image via Wikipedia

“The Story of Your Enslavement” is a short video that’s intelligent, well-written and compelling.  (The narrator speak with an the accent of an arrogant, intellectual Englishman, and that always gives ideas “extra credibility”.)

But, while I agree with much of what the video presents, I still don’t entirely agree because this video omits a prime reality–the existence of the God of the Bible.

The video is presented entirely from a secular perspective.  It doesn’t hint at the existence of God or the belief that most of our oppression can be traced to spiritual warfare.   Instead, the video complains of mankind being treated like “livestock” by an elite group of “farmers” (bankers, politicians, super-rich, etc.).  I pretty much agree with that description.

Bareback horse riding competition – Horse whisperer

bridleless

It takes a very experienced rider to ride a horse “bareback”  (without a saddle).  But those who ride “bareback,” normally use a bridle to control the horse’s direction.

This young woman (Stacy Westfall) rides her horse without saddle or bridle.  She guides and controls the horse with her voice–and with subtle movements of her feet.

She–and her horse–are spectacular.

8 Reasons Why the Great Depression is the Best Case Scenario

Dorothea Lange's "Migrant Mother," a...

Image via Wikipedia

This is the first time in nearly 4 years of publishing this blog that I’ve simply linked to another author’s or website’s article.  Although the article at the end of this link belabors what I think of as obvious, it does so with a host of photos that convey the message in way that strikes me as brilliant.

The article doesn’t merely convey the logic of the coming “Greater Depression,” it also provides illustrations of what has been–and will almost certainly be again.  The details in the photos offer a poignant–and frightening–insight into the consequences of mass unemployment, a collapsed economy and the terrible meaning of the word “destitute”.

We are headed towards another economic debacle that may make the previous Great Depression look like fun.
