Her husband died of cancer on Christmas. Two intruders broke into her home on New Years Eve. This 18-year-old mother/widow grabbed a 12 gauge, called 911, and killed the first s.o.b. who entered her home.

The definition of intruder seems to be appropriate in this case.
INTRUDER. One who, on the death of the ancestor, enters on the land, unlawfully, before the heir can enter.

Why do we always forget the phrase mentioning a well-regulated militia when discussing the 2nd amendment? The United States is an armed camp. God help us if we ever fall into anarchy. We will kill each other off by the millions. Brilliant!
