Positive change is possible. Especially at the local level. We can restore and improve this country one block at a time.
Here’s a video of a man who’s demonstrating that philosophy not only works, but may even be relatively easy in the midst of our current recession/ depression. Local governments will cooperate with almost any plan that might reinvigorate their streets and businesses.

Yes Alfred, local governments “will” co – operate as in to work “together” especially when they get a hand-out from “Uncle Sam” as in the form of “Federal Funds” like in this Texas city having gotten that $45 million grant to re-build the street cars of 50 plus years ago, and it great for this man to organize such to get people in-volved, but that when such money is stolen by corrupt agents of Uncle Sam that’s when I put my foot down and say to these people who could not care less from WHERE the money came from to: NOT take the trolly car, but: “Take a Hike”! and walk under your own food to fuel source as not a rip-off from another! Of others may donate, and be forced to pay taxes like up to 50% of their take, but when Uncle Sam purposefully puts somebody out of business and the “in” is to put them in-side the walls of a warehouse and “call” it a correctional facility with no course of classes in rehabilitation, that is an unlawful transfer of wealth! and kidnapping! Shame on that city and “those people” for not sending a Thank You card to who? The one in prison? As such these people, in effect, dance on their ancestor’s graves. Shame on them. They wave the flag on Independence Day and call it The Fourth of July. The Declaration of Independence spells it out in our “He has” #10 of 18 about that we rebelled against this “substance” abuse of Kings, as in King George back then, but of which practice we what? endorse such today!? Not me! Let these hypocrites walk! Walk to their library to read history of not to repeat the evils of the past, especially against their fellow man.

Joseph, I understand what you are saying. And I agree with you. But I believe that Al was trying to express to us that we have the ability to “DO,” if we will step up and take the lead (leadership roll). Yes, you’re right, that they threw away a lot of “stolen” money. Here’s one, Joe, how about getting a Federal grant of millions for the purpose of ending many Government Programs!

Thanks, Alfred, for showing us how one man can make a difference. Sitting around wishing things would change does not get anything changed, one has to ACT! “Wishing,” never gets the job done. We all possess some ability to do something; however, how little or big it may be. I especially liked how this man did not ask for permission, he just did. What a Sovereign!
