I received an email with the following text:

We’re calling for Gun Appreciation Day
on the eve of Obama’s Inauguration

Go to GunAppreciationDay.com and sign the petition
to defend gun rights

Go to our Facebook page and like us

Join the Facebook “event” page January 19 – Gun Appreciation Day

Then invite your friends to join!

President Barack Obama and his sycophants aren’t pulling any punches while they attack our Second Amendment rights.

It’s about time we started fighting back and playing for keeps.

Liberals have cowed down too many of our supposedly conservative leaders. Instead of standing strong for our right to bear arms, they’re giving into the emotional whirlwind of the leftist PR storm for gun control.

It’s abundantly clear by now that it’s up to We the People to stand up and make our elected officials do their duty, and protect the Constitution.

That’s why we’ve brought together a broad coalition of grassroots conservative groups who are ready and willing to take on the Obama Machine, go toe-to-toe with establishment “moderates,” and repudiate the lies and misinformation spread by the liberal media.

FOUR EASY STEPS TO DEFEND GUN RIGHTS:

1- Go to GunAppreciationDay.com and sign the petition
to defend gun rights

2- Go to our Facebook page and like us

3- Join the Facebook “event” page January 19 – Gun Appreciation Day

4- Then invite your friends to join!

We at Political Media, along with coalition members the Second Amendment FoundationCommittee for the Right to Keep and Bear ArmsSpecial Operations SpeaksRevolution SuperPACCitizens and CountrySocial Security InstituteCommittee to Draft Judge Andrew Napolitano,Conservative Action AlertsWomen Warriors PAC, and Conservative Action Fund are joining together to make a clear statement against the gun grabbing schemes of the left.

original_content_feinstein-gad-meme.pngWe’ve declared January 19th – two days before Obama’s Inauguration – to be Gun Appreciation Day. And we’re urging Americans nationwide to show their support for gun ownership.

We need every patriotic American to turn out en masse at gun stores, gun ranges, and gun shows from coast  to coast.

The Obama Administration has shown that it is more than willing to trample the Constitution to impose its dictates upon the American people. If the American people don’t fight back now, Obama will gut our Second Amendment rights – just as he deviously gutted the First with Obamacare.

Make sure that the crooks in this Administration know that we won’t take this laying down. If you are at all able, block off some time on the 19th and take part in Gun Appreciate Day. Invite your family, friends, and neighbors, too – anyone who believes in our Founder’s views on the Second Amendment needs to be there. I hope you’ll join the movement as people form lines “around the block” at gun stores, gun counters, gun shows, and gun ranges to protest the Obama administration’s assault on gun rights.

I think we need to take to the streets on January 19th.  I think we need to make a nation-wide show of political support for the 2nd Amendment and the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.  I don’t care if you just fly a flag on your front lawn.  I don’t care if you just call in to radio shows.  Do something in public to remind local, state and national politicians that We the People know there’s more to the 2nd Amendment than hunting ducks and we are determined to retain the 2nd Amendment.

Whatever you do, don’t get emotional, cause a media spectacle, and give the “gun nut” label credibility. We got Alex Jones doing enough of that for everybody. There’s an enemy advancing toward you, so intelligent and effective action is required.

The best way by far to “make a clear statement” is to send letters to your elected representatives at every level of government. Inform them, in a polite and non-threatening way, that the original intent of the 2nd Amendment had nothing to do with hunting and that the People’s firearms are never more necessary than when someone is trying to take them away. Inform your state and local elected representative that they have a lot of latitude in how much they cooperate with federal tyranny. After you have done these things, contact as many people as you can to do the same. Save the shooting range picnics and nice gestures on Facebook until after this battle is won.

The blurrier your pics are of obama the better. Seeing him everywhere is making me ill. This clown already has taken up far too much of my mental hard drive space and in spite of the number of times I keep emptying my “recycle bin” he keeps coming up. I just wish his gun grab on my unalienable right to defend myself would stay as blurry and reside somewhere in the world of 1’s and 0’s.

It amazes me the number of people that thing Alex Jones is so great. If he was legit, they would have taken him out a long time ago. He is nothing but a “government” shill doing exactly what they want him to do.

Honestly, I appreciate your viewpoint but seriously think you should do some research on Mr. Jones background. I found him in on public access about fifteen years ago and he still tells the same story he has for a decade and a half. It is easy to dismiss a loud mouth agitator but when he rhetoric is always spot on, there must be more to him. At least that is my assessment of the Jones thing.
As far as the fed CO-Government wanting to take your guns, you can bet your last Liberty dollar they do. Read your history, every government that dis-arms the public turns out to always be part of the dark side.
I hope you do some deep research and reassess your opinion of as you say the “government shill” you think Mr. Jones to be.
In Liberty and with the grace of God~

Clearly Jones just gave anti-gunners lots more ammo. Made Piers look like the rational one, etc. Fed the stereotype of “raving lunatics”… so by his fruits it’s clear who he works for. If you want to do some research, look into a, what he never mentions/criticizes and b, who he’s married to.

He’s controlled and directed (false) opposition. Dis information always includes a lot of truth… that’s what makes it effective.

It doesn’t apply to “them”, only to “us”. Remember?

Michael: >>He is nothing but a “government” shill doing exactly what they want him to do.<<

He sure put on the performance of a shill, though I would not assume the government is who's paying him. A bit of looking into AJ's advertisers and the like should give a hint.

He was so off the reservation on CNN that he let a more polished shill control the conversation. Notice how Piers Morgan kept changing the subject back to violent crime this, murder rate that, etc. Who said reducing crime was what motivated the 2nd Amendment? Just as it was not about shooting Peter Rabbit and Winnie-the-Pooh, it was not about shooting the clueless drug addict who is trying to steal your flat screen TV. You don't need an AR-15 clone for either of these purposes.

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

Limiting firearms to hunting and security guard functions is against the express intent of the 2nd Amendment, which was to protect the people’s right to arms that have military uses.

Are these the same photos given to the particular occupation of Columbian females and Congress to identify the customers who humiliated the people of America?

    Remember this:

“ The 2nd Amendment is a legal defense from charge for shooting a government actor who commits treason and/or tyranny against you or others Americans.”

“The 2nd Amendment only applies to YOU and your Governments. And NO others!”

“The only nation gun laws that are legal are the rules and regulations placed upon Federal agents or employees in time of service to the country. The only state gun laws that are legal are the rules and regulations placed upon State agents and employees in time of service to the state. Any other type of gun law is an infringement.”

Numerous people have berated Jones for his aggressive behavior on Piers Morgan’s CNN program. I went to the “Beck” website (The Blaze) after Beck belittled Jones only to find that Beck’s own bloggers supported Jones and told Beck he’d better get in line and stop shilling for the neo-cons. Some threatened to cancel their Blaze subscription.

Then I went to CNN’s website and found much the same thing. People didn’t agree with the delivery but did agree with the message.

I think we’ve been the silent majority for way too long. Attempting to implement a gun ban by Executive Order would be considered treason by much of America. (Even though I think B.O. is a Corporate CEO and treason doesn’t apply in that commercial jurisdiction).

One thing that’s certain, we don’t need a sissy from Britain telling us what’s proper for America.

I think Nancy Reagan said it best, just as you would to an errant child, just say “NO” mean it no matter what back it up.

“Don’t get emotional”? …I have yet to see that happen with people that share this type of ideology. There are those who are intelligent and level headed, but they are always over shadowed by the emotional one. What’s the big deal if the want to take everyone’s guns? The real question is can they? And will you let them? Nothing else matters. If you believe that you have to do what the Gov says, then that’s on you. If they say jump and you say how high, so be it.

The Constitution does not apply to us. We can keep talking about the Constitution in Article 1 Section 10 clause 1, the Constitution voided itself. So again, don’t get emotional? It can only be emotional regardless of how you display your emotions (calm or frantic).

    Constitution Art.1 Sec.10 Cl.1
No state shall enter into any…or law impairing the obligation of contracts…
Which means? You can contract your rights away. There shall be not INVOLUNTARY SERVITUDE. It says nothing of voluntary. Therefore, everyone can can relax (or continue to come up with excuses for their own cowardliness and attempt to hide behind a mass of people). If you claim to be a US CITIZEN then you have obligations and duties. If you don’t know what they are, that’s your fault. Ignorance of the law is no excuse and excuses no one.

Enjoy your guns (or lack there of)

(did he really say “Go to our Facebook page and like us” as a way to help? They can’t be serious)

    Obamacare to the rescue

That’s right—it turns out that there is, indeed, a provision buried deep in the thousands of pages that is the Affordable Care Act entitled, “Protection of Second Amendment Rights”. You’ll find it in Section 2716 part c of the Affordable Care Act although, to save you the trouble, I have re-printed the provision below for your perusal.

    (c) PROTECTION OF SECOND AMENDMENT GUN RIGHTS.—

‘‘(1) WELLNESS AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS.— A wellness and health promotion activity implemented under subsection (a)(1)(D) may not require the disclosure or collection of any information relating to—

‘‘(A) the presence or storage of a lawfully- possessed firearm or ammunition in the residence or on the property of an individual; or

‘‘(B) the lawful use, possession, or storage of a firearm or ammunition by an individual.
‘‘

    (2) LIMITATION ON DATA COLLECTION.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used for the collection of any in- formation relating to—

    ‘‘(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition;

‘‘(B) the lawful use of a firearm or ammunition; or

‘‘(C) the lawful storage of a firearm or ammunition.

‘‘(3) LIMITATION ON DATABASES OR DATA BANKS.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used to maintain records of individual ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition.

As for the reasons for burying a pro-gun measure into the body of the Affordable Care Act, the Majority Leader is said to have been concerned that the NRA planned to take an active position against the passage of Obamacare.

Obama’s not to happy with Harry Reid for this hidden claus in the bill that Harry added himself.
