Great video, especially because he addresses the main point of the 2nd Amendment, which is no more about personal security than it is about hunting. The 2nd Amendment states, right there in the text, that its purpose is the security of a FREE STATE, not personal security. Even if the right of the people to keep and bear arms decreased everyone’s personal security, which it does not, this would be secondary to the explicit purpose of the 2nd Amendment.

I’m glad to see and hear people fighting for the common sense approach to the gun arguments in Hartford, Connecticut. I have wondered if there is any or one parent of a Sandy Hook school student that advocates guns in the schools for the children’s protection?

The Dept. Of Homeland Security (DHS) has a video out which advises someone to use “any available item which could be used as a weapon, such as scissors” in an “active” mass shooter. No mention of guns.

Really refreshing to see someone who has a proper understanding of the meaning of the 2nd Amendment, as well as a grasp on the distinction between a State (the People) and the government as in they are NOT one in the same. Sad that (legal) immigrants have a better understanding of this than “posterity Americans.”
