Government’s Biggest “Special Interest” Is Government

Government’s Growing “Special Interests” (Photo credit: woodleywonderworks)

Here’s evidence to show that government has become a enormous parasite feeding off the People who work for a living.  Worse, so many people are now working for government and feeding at the public trough that it’ll be almost impossible to vote to cut government employment or “benefits”.

American government has become the main political “Party” just as the the government of the former Soviet Union was that nation’s only “political party”.  The Democrat, and more recently the Republican, parties are just two wings of the Big Government Party.

If we can’t vote the “Big Government Party” out of Washington, maybe we can starve ’em out.  As the video explains, the average federal employee is paid double what’s earned by the average private sector employee.  So what would happen to those porcine government employees if the private sector stopped paying taxes?  I know this scenario is improbable, but a widespread tax revolt by productive members of society could be just what’s needed to shrink the size of government.

Of course, if the government grows large enough or dumb enough, it will collapse the economy and an impoverished people will have a “de facto” tax revolt in that they are simply too broke to pay taxes.  If we had a depression, I could probably survive, but could Big Government?

How did the special interests usurp the people’s government in the first place?

Did they wish away legitimate government in daydreams of how the world should be?

Certainly not. The bad guys got where they are by acting together to proactively change government according to their design: the very thing they most fear We the People will do.

Adask: >>If we can’t vote the “Big Government Party” out of Washington, maybe we can starve ’em out.<<

As long as we still have elections, we CAN vote them out. Whatever 300 million people want, 300 million people get, provided their will to act has not been poisoned by hate-the-state aversion therapy.

Only if We the People buy the propaganda served up daily by Tokyo Rose, and thus consider the American body politic a lost cause, will the American body politic be a lost cause.

Until then, whatever 300 million people want, 300 million people get, including a decisive win over international usury's covetous designs on the birthright of America.

As far as downsizing DC by withholding funds from the IRS, doing so would require support from your state and local elected representatives. So, in yet another way, your future
depends on reality-based participation in the body politic.

The bad guys (as you called them) are willing to use whatever methods necessary to accomplish the power they desire. They will bribe, blackmail, and cajol whomever they can and murder those unwilling to compromise.

I don’t believe the average American is willing to do those things to achieve a change. That’s why I promote a disciplined withdrawal from the sewer they’ve created.

Good news!!! The senate has passed the first budget in 4 years. It passed 50 to 49 with no Republican voting for it. It guarantees a deficit through the year 2023, raises over a trillion dollars in new taxes and stands no chance in passing the Republican controlled House.

Hurrayyyyyyy!!!! From such milestones progress will be found.

Big government (Federal) has always survived ITS economic depressions. It did just fine in the last depression. It is all the levels of government below the Fed’s that have trouble. But don’t worry – we will get something like the New Deal to help them.

Damn Democracy! Government workers voting against the private tax paying sector! To restore the Republic, we must remove the “conflict of interest” (his and her voting rights) of the government worker.

Civil Service Federal Jobs are “For Life.” Impossable to be terminated, outside of Certain Acts. Civil Servants work 100% to retain their “Job.”
