Monkey Attacks Cop During Traffic Stop

22 Jun

The headline is more striking than the video.

Still, you might be asking yourself why a monkey was driving a car–and if so, was he licensed?

OK, OK–the monkey wasn’t actually driving but, even so, this is an amusing video.

I’m still wondering why the cop didn’t shoot or at least taser the little s.o.b.. I’ll bet that if you attacked the cop, you’d be tasered.  I think it’s discriminatory to give the monkey a break. I think monkeys should be subject to just as much police abuse as regular people. Maybe the cop gave the monkey a break because the cop is still a rookie and not yet addicted to steroids.

Maybe it’s a sequel? Maybe it’s “The Son of the Trunk Monkey”.

Good observation, Mr. Adask. The cop not shooting or zapping the monkey is curious.

He was probably caught off guard by a situation that isn’t covered in the training manual.

Next time this happens, he will no doubt be quicker on the uptake.

A good example of ” man or other animals”.

The monkey is irrelevant. So, I ask, since when do law enforcement employees ( revenue agents ) wear video cameras on their sunglasses? and since when do they use electronic signature pads? Would you sign an electronic pad without some sort of privacy statement, or a disclosure as to exactly how and to whom your signature is displayed? Due Process violations anyone?

Gary, are you sure that wasn’t a handheld credit card device for the payment of fines?
