Matthew 24:34 (KJV) 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Matthew 23:36 (KJV) 36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

That generation ended in 70 AD. The temple was destroyed in 69 AD.

Not the generation of 2013 but the same generation that was present when Jesus walked the earth.

Revelation 8:9 “The second angel sounded, and something “like” agreat mountain burning withfire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood, and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed”.

I often wonder about the third of the ships. Could it be conceivable that their destruction was the result of the negative effect this disaster had on the economy? Look at the weakness in the Baltic
Dry Index, it’s 80% of the highs of A.D. 2008, this index illustrates extreme weakness in shipping.

Revelation is extremely symbolic; the symbols represent real things, but in the final events I can assure you God is not worried about literal ships and shipping. Even a brief study of prophetic symbols will greatly open up Revelation for you and repay you for your efforts. There are even several passages in Revelation itself where an angel explains to John what certain symbols STAND FOR. The pattern holds for most of the book…
