Burning Bridges to Obama

16 Mar

Change even Obama can believe in.

A former Obama supporter changes her mind.

In and of itself, this video is not profound. Some of it is almost silly.  But as a leaf in the breeze, the video offers a clue as to which way the political wind is blowing among American youth.  If this video is representative of the political perspective of America’s youth, Democrats are headed for a lot of trouble in next November’s election. So is big government.

I think the tide’s beginning to turn. I think America has had just about enough of the treasonous whores in the cat-house on the Potomac and just about enough of the police state where cops can kill with impunity. I think that unless “big government” can somehow install and maintain an overt dictatorship within the next two years, the election of A.D. 2016 may mark the end of the line for “big government”. A.D. 2016 may even present an opportunity for the creation of a new, third party dedicated to the fundamental, spiritual principles (like Liberty) on which this nation was founded.

Good video, I was afraid she would burn herself setting the shirt on fire, but I’m sure she knows which way the wind is blowing.

Yartap, I had a feeling something was about to burn. Do you think she would burn a flag?

      Hi moon,

Well, one thing is for sure, “With being independent (not age), comes wisdom.” Now, this young lady is becoming smart. My hat’s off to her!

Yep! I’m noticing more and more signs of independence in young’uns. It could be a revolution or some such event.

While she’s a DEFINITE improvement on the general “me” generation, still, she’s in that “peace and love” stage of immature naivete’. Altho, her list of culprits was accurate. But, practical, critical thinking is a needed component of her philosophy…

As I’ve experienced over my 68 years of life, (working closely with young people for over 20 of those yrs), American youth tend towards a very fanciful view of life, and lack a strong realistic take on the matters of living in the real world, FAR TO OFTEN. The event sequences that I’ve noted really bring reality home are a serious failure, children, and SERIOUS personal responsibility (that they can’t sluff off on someone or thing else). I wouldn’t wish these on these young lady, but they DO seem necessary to grow our spoiled youngsters up!

Christian Gains, et.al., you say, in pertinent part,

@ >…….still, she’s in that “peace and love” stage of immature naivete’. Altho, her list of culprits was accurate. But, practical, critical thinking is a needed component of her philosophy…

No good deed or making an effort to do something GOOD will go unpunished and making an attempt to do something GOOD will be ridiculed, scorned, mocked, booed in one way or another. We seem to only want to proclaim the BAD,etc., or find fault in some way, & boo the good. Why??

From the way she articulates it is possible she has followed the sound advice of Mr. Adask, and is presumably in possession of a few good dictionaries. Maybe even a 45 ACP!

An intelligent “woman” is an attractive “woman”.

I admire this young lady. Have watched the video 4 times so far. It’s uplifting. I can find no fault with her stand at all but then, I do not listen to or watch videos, etc to see if there is anything I can find fault with. We all see & hear & understand too many things differently, it seems. This little lady touched my heart, made me laugh a lot too.

@ >I’m Derrel Walters – an individual. That’s all I know how to be.

Apparently, what is showing above WAS NOT NOTICED. However, I will try & contact Derrel & give Derrel some “food for thought questions” because I like what Derrel said “overall.” AND, I will do so ONLY in trying to be helpful. Maybe I will be told where to go to for trying.
