On Thursday, Scotland had an opportunity to discontinue its 307-year old association with Great Britain by simply voting to become an independent nation. This was no small opportunity since Scotland had been joined to Great Britain by force of conquest three centuries ago, and had brooded ever since about that injustice and longing for a moment to break free.

However, as reported in The New York Times (“Scotland Rejects Independence From United Kingdom”),

“Voters in Scotland rejected independence from Britain in a referendum that had threatened to break up the 307-year union between them . . . . With 26 of 32 voting districts reporting, there were 1,397,077 votes, or 54.2 percent, against independence, and 1,176,952, or 45.7 percent, in favor.”

Reuters reported (“ Scottish nationalist leader Salmond quits after losing independence vote”) that,

“ Scottish nationalist Alex Salmond [who supported Scottish independence from Great Britain] resigned as leader of his party on Friday and will quit as First Minister of his country after losing an independence referendum.

“‘For me as leader my time is nearly over but for Scotland the campaign continues and the dream will never die,’ Salmond told reporters in Edinburgh.”

I don’t blame the First Minister of Scotland for resigning. The “dream” of Scottish independence is dead—murdered by the majority of the Scottish people.

So, therefore, Thursday was truly a sad and terrible day.

Several million Scotsmen had a chance to achieve independence and freedom. They didn’t even have to fight for it. All they had to do was vote for freedom and instead, the majority voted to remain as subjects and bondmen to Great Britain.

I can see why Mr. Salmond quit. After 300 years of allegedly dreaming of freedom from England, when Scotland finally had a chance to escape, most Scotsmen preferred to keep getting welfare and pensions from Great Britain rather than dare to assume the risks that necessarily attach to freedom.

Scottish senior citizens primarily voted to secure their pensions and leave their children and grandchildren to rot in bondage.

It’s a shameful day for Scotland and a shameful day for mankind. Some of us had a chance to be free without even fighting, and we rejected that chance.

I am appalled. The Scots could’ve voted for independence and thereby lifted up a torch for freedom that might’ve inspired the world. But, instead, they preferred to remain on the dole.

I am disgusted and ashamed for Scotland.

And I’m frightened that the Scots’ example might be emulated here in the former “land of the free”.

I’m left to wonder how many Americans, given an opportunity to be free, would also vote to remain in bondage.

If we had a chance to vote, really vote, for freedom in this country—who would support that idea? Who would take advantage of that opportunity? Who would vote for freedom, knowing that freedom not only meant less government but also meant more personal responsibility?

In a nation where at least half of us receive some sort of governmental support, how many of us would say “to hell with that welfare . . . to hell with subsidies . . . I’m voting for freedom!

Not many.

It appears that big government has effectively seduced and enslaved the Scots, and probably most Americans, with the proverbial “free lunch”.

I doubt that many Americans will abandon the promise of a free lunch to fight, or even vote, for freedom.

If that’s true, there’ll be no resurrection of freedom, Liberty or independence in this country until after the federal government is bankrupt and impotent, the dollar has died and the nation is wracked by a catastrophic economic and social collapse.   It’ll take a genuine catastrophe—the loss of all free lunches—before the majority of Americans will again appreciate freedom.

So, Thursday was, indeed, a sad and terrible day.

The slaves voted to reject their freedom.

To Hell with Scotland.

    Hey Al,

But, possibility of vote fraud should at least be considered.
Yesterday’s Scottish Independence referendum has been one of the most monumental moments in British history and politics, ending a two-year campaign that could have seen the start of a new nation. But despite the largest turnout in UK history and a majority vote of ‘No’, new video evidence has surfaced online allegedly showing that voting was rigged as a female ballot paper counter is seen placing several ‘Yes’ votes into the ‘No’ pile.

Scot voters apparently rejecting independence by a margin of 55 to 45 per cent; Metro reports that the footage, filmed at the Dundee Polling Station and another image taken at the Clackmannshire county counting table reveal evidence of foul play during the election process. Another video showing a male ballot counter in Edinburgh has also circulated in social media.

Scottish nationalists and supporters of the independence campaign slammed the process for ‘electoral fraud’, and took to social media to express their anger. International Business Times reports that one Yes campaigner, Amy Louise, wrote, “This entire thing sticks of fish, it’s attracting sharks from Australia”.

Twitter user King Khalid suggested, “Willing to put a bet on that #Westminster has rigged the election”.

Another user, Euan Reid commented, “Rigged. Fixed. Bribes and power. Brace yourself Scotland. We’re going to be raped for years to come”.

But the ‘Yes Dundee’ campaign vote counters took to the social network to dismiss accusations of rigging, tweeting that the votes were only being counted in preparation for sorting into the correct pile. They tweeted, “To clarify, the ballot papers have not yet been sorted in Yes/No and are just resting on the table where No will go once sorted”.

Yet Metro reports that officials at the referendum count in Glasgow are investigating ten cases of electoral fraud, and possible impersonation where people pretend to be another individual who hasn’t yet voted. Scottish Police have said that such suspected crimes will be investigated appropriately.

“Police Scotland takes the safety and security of the independence referendum extremely seriously and is working with partner agencies including local authorities to ensure the integrity of the ballot”, a spokesman told BBC News.

And the integrity of the electoral process had already been drawn into question as reports that children between the ages of three and 11 had received polling cards, while their parents had not. This happened in East Ayrshire, where families notified local councillors but fears arose that this could have been happening all over Scotland.

“The problem is that our voting system means that all you have to do is turn up and say where you live”, Labour councillor Maureen Mackay told The Scotsman.

“There is no check to verify who you are so… This could be crucial with the polls”.

The incidents harken to the 1979 devolution referendum in which some deceased were given the vote.

Al, since you seem to be a conspiracy theorist on many issues (and many – not all – I agree with), is it too far a stretch to consider a rigged election here? Many comments of Scots on FB seem to think this is the case. I’m surprised you did not pose one word on this possibility in your post here.

Yes, there may have been vote fraud. But if there was, could that be a surprise? Are the Scottish people “Shocked! Shocked I tell you!” to learn that they were defrauded? Knowing that fraud was at least likely in an election like this, shouldn’t the Scottish people have made it their business to post guards and monitors at every voting booth and at every point where the votes might be counted? If the Scots couldn’t be bothered to protect their votes in an election of such importance, they are unworthy of my respect. No matter how you slice and who you blame, they had a chance to be free without even having to fight and they pissed it away. I stand by my observation that it was a “sad and terrible day.”

No argument with what you posted, as I concur. To bad it may be the same here in the USA, where many immigrants are too grateful for their new opportunities to ever rock the boat, or even try to understand what is really happening here with the destruction of our liberties. They are hired for more reasons than ‘cheap labor’, i.e. they are equally subservient to business and government.

        September 20, 2014 at 4:54 PM

But, to be accurate Al, you stand by your observation, BUT for a substantially different reason, which reason is worthy to make known. And it’s a hell of a lot worse reason than the majority of Scots voting to remain subjects.

      • Tony

        September 20, 2014 at 4:56 PM

misprint – meant to say to vote to be subject is a lot worse reason (of course).

Galloway’s arguments against independence include: 1) The Scottish/English union has served both countries well as a criminal enterprise by means of which they captured and exploited numerous colonies around there world and thereby made a lot of money; 2) if the Scots and English separate, the Scottish and English common people will lose a lot of money; 3) the Scots are no more oppressed than are the English people.

At no point does Galloway suggest that being free has value. At no point does Galloway suggest that merely choosing to be free has value. At bottom, his arguments seem based on the love of money.

His arguments may be pragmatic but they do not inspire. He counseled that Scottish people had better not take a chance on freedom because freedom isn’t free–freedom might cost them some fiat currency. He’s probably right. But is that a sufficient excuse to reject a chance to be free? Is freedom merely about the money? Merely a financial calculation? Are we better off being slaves so long as we’re promised a good pension plan?

Galloway is a persuasive speaker, but his ideas make me queasy. His ideas are predominate these days, and I don’t believe the world is better off for it. Instead, I believe that the ideas Galloway espoused in this video are the kind that will ultimately seduce us into catastrophe.

But maybe Galloway is right. Maybe the world should embrace Galloway’s ideas and love money more than freedom. When the stuff hits the fan, most of the dependents who fear freedom will probably be among the first to perish. Perhaps Galloway is an agent for cleansing the world’s psyche.

    We shall see.

The speaker in your video is George Galloway, a British parliamentarian. As he mentions (and others confirm), behind the push for Scottish independence was big-media baron Rupert Murdoch and other big-money interests including real estate speculators. Never mind the marketing by which the independence campaign portrayed itself as a grassroots movement (the usual blind).

Though the Scottish public were being sold “freedom”, what they actually would have got was the usual breakdown of nationhood (as Galloway repeatedly mentions) leading to a tyranny of the oligarchs.

So once again the pattern repeats itself: undermine the nation state – i.e. the body politic of the people – then, in the resulting power vacuum, establish the lawless rule of the anarchist billionaires. This pattern keeps repeating worldwide, and the same deceivers in the media keep shilling for it on behalf of their NWO sugar daddies.

We the People of the United States should pay attention to Galloway, because a similar scheme is in the planning stages for this country too.

    • Henry

      September 20, 2014 at 4:58 PM

That’s right. Galloway rebukes the deceivers, and sweeps aside their bogus “freedom” pretext, in his opening statement:

Q: Why are you so passionate about keeping the UK together?

A: Well, I hate countries breaking up, unless there’s an overwhelming need to do so. It’s far better that countries should stay together. I particularly hate it when a false argument is being advanced that the country that seeks to break away is somehow oppressed or occupied. Nothing could be further from the truth.

      • itsmymoney

        September 20, 2014 at 5:30 PM

Galloway is obviously an a-hole lying thru his rotted teeth, or he is simply stupid. Or both. The last 2 sentences in Galloway’s answer posted by @Henry prove this to be an indisputable truth.

Apparently the Scots had temporary amnesia at the polls and forgot how much the English are oppressing them, but we in the US know better.

I’m sure you understand that balkanized micro-states, easily dominated by foreign money power, are now the policy of the NWO.

But the NWO and the multitude of public relations pigs they employ always need a sellable excuse to break up your nation, just like they need a sellable excuse to break up your family or your society.

Cries of “down with oppression!” and “up with freedom!” have served in all these cases. Every revolution the NWO ever paid for – from the French Revolution of 1789 to gay rights and abortion – has recycled the same slogans.

Clearly the shrewd Scots weren’t buying, this time around.

`Fantastic bit of understanding there Roger concerning the FACT that the New World Order has been involved or guided revolutions and wars (and benefited from them) since the French Revolution. As you pointed out, …”Every revolution the NWO ever paid for – from the French Revolution of 1789 to gay rights and abortion – has recycled the same slogans”…

        Thanks for the compliment, ET.

To answer your question, I don’t object to Scotland being an independent country, in theory. But in the chess game of geopolitics, timing is everything. And the worst time to make a move is when the NWO wants you to do it. Likewise, the worst time for a young bird to test its wings is when a large snake is watching from the tall grass below.

Judging by the sponsorship of Rupert Murdoch and Co., among other telling indicators, it’s evident that the real reason for independence was so that the Anarcho-Capitalist Internationale, i.e. the Money Power, could bum rush newly independent Scotland, buy up everything in sight, abolish regulation, and install themselves as overlords. Such nation state-cannibalization is SOP for the NWO nowadays. When the dust settled, Scotland would probably have joined the EU (see recent developments in Ukraine for a similar storyline). Staying in the UK is a better outcome.

You said > The N.W.O. is not “NEW” and Great Britain, along with the United States, are ‘aiding’ in it’s implementation!

Yes, though the ultimate beneficiary of the NWO is the international Money Power, whereas the US and UK, along with all nation states, are slated for absorption and loss of sovereignty. Aiding this work of undermining the nations is the main job of the false-alternative media, which is nothing more than the Mini-Me version of the mainstream media.

        September 21, 2014 at 11:33 AM

You did it again! It appears I was cheering for the Scots independents based on ’emotion’ and was not aware of the players behind it. I see your point, and Bulgaria may have been a victim of the same manipulators back a few years ago. We don’t hear about Bulgaria today, and how they are close to revolution because the change that they got was nothing but more of the same and worse. The reason (I believe) that the Media does not report what is happening there is it is organic and not a manipulation by the ‘money changers’ like in Ukraine.

To the international Money Power again I have to add that they are EDOM. I do not like to use the “J” word because EDOM created that word to hide behind. Now “WE” bless them as they control the Banks, Hollywood, ALL of the Media (the false-alternative media too) and EDOM has gained control of the western Nation Foreign and Domestic Policies giving “only” the western Nations wonderful things like Forced Open Boarders and Forced Multiculturalism! EDOM learned from Romes destruction, that Open Boarders and Multiculturalism was necessary for OUR DESTRUCTION!

I used to post at InfoWars that Alex Jones was just the MSM Version 6.6.6 I have been banned from there 24 times for posting about EDOM and pointing out the evil that is ZIONISM!

Encourage all to research that technically if one is not an ’employee’ (indentured serf) to said ‘government’ for profit ‘corporation’ (in fact) then one is technically only a ‘citizen’ or ‘civilian’ by Stockholms Syndrome or another form of brain washing for which it is literally “all in your mind” Just need to remove all the presumptions and assumptions by doing a comprehensive self identification and self determination for which any one or more of the following ARE ‘used against you’ – commerce which is direct markup and not the same as ‘fair trade’ for labor, time, and intellect; religion which is by definition soul\spirit bondage while retaining soul and spirit; under mind control for govern\control + ment\mind is; politics as ‘registered voter’ while retaining full right to free speech; and not citizen of corporation, not a roman civilian, not hu-man which is a man’s shadow; not hu-man being which is monster or beast of burden; not a person which is a fiction; i.e. nothing more or less than a free man neither slave\family nor master over slaves\house nor with ages old poll or head tax i.e. “wanted dead or alive” as chattel property kidnapped from solid land unto fiction land by Black’s magic or animal Bouvier Law… standing under natural law and only acknowledging the living not any fictions while “they” should be held first to natural law and all else secondary with equal weight and measure by their own ’employment’ for which one can ‘hold’ “them” to civil law\Rome, their employer’s ‘policies’, CITY < COUNTY < STATE < UNITED STATES < UNITED NATIONS (multiple war and human rights violations) < VATICAN (cannon and ecclesiastical) as well as lawful non-fiduciary trust law (no trust), legal fiduciary TRUST law (breach of TRUST), contract law (no contract), breach of Universal Postal Union Law (name fraud, address\venue entrapment), and others, just to name a few… not to leave out CIVIL TORT, FEDERAL TORT, FEDERAL RICO, et al.
My preference is forgiveness first for the past can not be changed, however do 'hold' "them" to all FUTURE violations with retroactive 'invoicing' my preference being lawful non-debt based 'currency' first such as jail time, community service, mandatory training, and last 'money' but NOT gold or silver rather barter as even gold\silver in fact typically call for harming the environment and other countries in fact use slave labor for which some use mercury for filtering – harming both life to men and the local environment as a whole, so my preference is that which is from nature that is not harmful and made by hand. Preference for that akin to "BaltimoreBuck" or "Ithica Dollar" but WITHOUT the private debt based "FRN" involvement.

Scotland is no more. They are going the way of the North American native. They are better termed British. Gaelic is rarely spoken, and a huge segment of the population loves English & E.U. welfare.

Too, how can the Queen let Scotland seperate? It is not her land to give away. I thought the land is for her heirs.

Serfdom still exists, and serfs voting themselves free is laughable.

We are plantation/colony serfs so keep paying them taxes or men with guns will haul you away.

Al, your comments would be appreciated. Bob -To: Sent: Thursday, January 1, 2015 10:10 AM Subject: Fwd: [RedemptionByMethod] When the Judge is Corrupt Hi All,

This is a good synopsis of what one must do to prevail over presumptions that courts rely on.

You say this is a property tax case, so I presume the plaintiff is the state or county.  I also presume you did not challenge the director of the taxing agency to prove you are the “person” named in the code as the person who has to pay the tax, or be foreclosed upon.

If those two presumptions are correct, then the court did have jurisdiction because the court has subject matter jurisdiction over the codes being enforced, and the judge was presuming that you had exhausted all your administrative remedies before appearing before him, and therefore, he is presuming you are the person named in the code and subject thereto.  That being the case, if you did not pay the tax, you are in violation of the code, and therefore, he doesn’t need to give you findings of fact and conclusions of law.  Your legal arguments mean nothing because they don’t change the code.  The codes rule, as evidenced by your statement that the attorney spouted some code and that was it.  (Additionally, findings of fact and conclusions of law must be requested prior to the hearing and ruling, or the judge is not required to provide them.)

These courts operate under military war powers.  They only enforce statutes.  The statute stands, and if you violated it, you are guilty.  That is their only focus.  If you think the statute is unconstitutional, and you argued that, you can appeal it on constitutional grounds, but I doubt you will get anywhere with it because they are not going to declare a tax statute unconstitutional for any reason.  Do you know what kind of impact that would have on the state and prior taxes that were assessed “unconstitutionally”?  You will waste your time trying to win such an appeal.

If you want to win in their courts, you have to win before you ever get into the courtroom.  You have to win on the administrative level.  To win on the administrative level all you have to do is request an adjudicative hearing and a declaratory order to determine whether you are the person named in the code.  Put enough info in the request to let them know that you know the code only applies to artificial entities.  Quote the definition of “person” in their code and show them that by including even one artificial entity in the definition, they have limited the definition to only artificial entities.  Accompany it with your Affidavit of Status wherein you let them know you are not an artificial entity, nor the trustee for an artificial entity.  When the agency denies you the hearing, you have won, if you enter an affidavit into the court stating you have been denied due process.  You challenge the court’s jurisdiction based on denial of due process.  The judge should dismiss the case.  If the court proceeds and enters a judgment, you can sue the judge in his personal capacity for denying you due process and entering a judgment without jurisdiction to do so.  It should be a very simple lawsuit as it is well known the court loses subject matter jurisdiction the moment due process has been denied.

Unfortunately, this info is too late to help you in this matter, but it should help you win the next time you go up against a state agency, and you can win without historical intent, senate journals, treaties and other evidence.  Maybe someone else knows what you can do at this stage of the proceedings.

We have a “snowball’s chance” in the same sense that Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Madison had a “snowball’s chance” against the mighty English “super-power”. If we get enough God in our lives, there might be snowball fights breaking out in Hell.

If it was easy, there wouldn’t be any glory in winning, would there?
