Kent Hovind’s Spiritual War

Back in the 1990s, I published a magazine called the AntiShyster.  That publication focused mainly on criticizing lawyers and the judicial system, but I also touched on issues of religion.  I’d also sometimes touch on extraneous subjects that simply impressed me as interesting and important.

One of those subjects was Kent Hovind’s arguments in favor of Creationism–the idea that man really was created by God in the way described in Genesis.  According to Hovind, man is not the result of evolution.

At the time, I was in my 40s and regarded myself as semi-educated and reasonably intelligent.  Therefore, I knew that the Theory of Evolution was rational, scientific and undeniable. I wasn’t a “holy roller,” and I dismissed Creationism as a myth unworthy of consideration.

And then I read one of Kent Hovind’s articles that both advocated Creationism and also pointed out great logical flaws in the Theory of Evolution.  I was amazed. I no longer regarded Evolution as rational, scientific and undeniable.  I could see that while “evolution” meant “change” and offered a very logical theory as to how animal “A” changed/evolved into animal “B” which, in turn, changed/evolved into animal “C”–the theory of evolution cannot explain how animal “A” was created and came to be in the first place.

I’m not a student of evolution, but, as I understand it, under that theory, the first living cell had to consist of both DNA and a cell wall.  That presents a problem:  DNA can’t exist outside of a cell wall, but the cell wall can’t be created without DNA.  Thus, in evolution we’re faced with the ultimate “which-came-first-the-chicken-or-the-egg?” puzzle.  We can’t have DNA unless there is first a cell wall to contain it.  But we can’t have a cell wall unless there is first DNA to create that cell wall.

Thus, for the Theory of Evolution to work, it must be based on the creation of a first cell that’s every bit as mysterious, incomprehensible and miraculous as Creationism’s claim that, “On the sixth day, God created man in His image.”  More, given that evolution is all about logic and science, there’d seem to be no place for God or miracles in that Theory.  And yet, the Theory of Evolution is a no go, unless it starts with a miraculous premise:  That somehow, the first living cell “evolved” without a cell wall, or without DNA.  Insofar as Evolution denies the existence of God, it must also deny the existence of miracles.  But, without something very like a miracle, evolution can’t get started.

I’m not going to argue in favor of Creationism or Evolution at this point.  But I will say that if: 1) life began as something miraculous; 2) Evolution denies the existence of God and miracles; and 3) Creationism is based on existence of miracles; then, 4) in a contest between Evolution and Creationism, logic, reason and science tells that, of the two “theories,” only Creationism offers a plausible explanation for the miraculous Origin of life.

I.e., if evolution makes no allowance for miracles, and we need a miracle to explain the origin of life, then Evolution, by definition, can’t win but Creationism can.

Evolution offers a plausible explanation for how life may have changed and may still be changing, but, by definition, it can’t and does not explain how life began.

Reading Mr. Hovind’s articles 20 years ago had a big impact on my life.  That impact wasn’t immediate.  I published one or two of his articles in my magazine, and interviewed him once or twice on my radio show.  He merely made me understand that the Theory of Evolution is weak and improbable but Creationism was viable.  I was enthralled.

But, it would be at least another 10 years before I had cause or opportunity to argue in favor of Creationism.  In A.D. 2006, I was charged by the Texas Attorney General in a civil suit for the manufacture and distribution of a controlled substance and threatened with fines of $25,000/day ($9 million/year).  As many of you know, I read the Texas and federal definitions of drugs, and realized that those definitions presumed that I was an “animal”.  I drafted a freedom of religion defense that argued that as a Christian, I could not be treated, defined or presumed to be an “animal” without violating a fundamental principle of the Christian faith:  that on the 6th day of Creation, God created man in His image and gave man dominion over the animals.  Thus, a man made in God’s image can’t be an “animal” nor can he be subjected to law and legal obligations that presume him to be an animal.

Faced with that defense, the Texas Attorney General simply stopped prosecuting the civil suit against me and six prior defendants.  After investing 6 years and nearly $500,000 in pre-trial investigations and hearings, the Attorney General of Texas simply stopped prosecuting the case.  He never said why he stopped, but I have no doubt that he stopped because of the freedom of religion defense that I, with the grace of our Father YHWH ha Elohim, had drafted.

I probably hadn’t communicated with Kent Hovind for most of ten years before I drafted my “freedom of religion” defense.  Nevertheless, it was Kent’s arguments and insights concerning Creationism in the 1990s that laid the foundation for me to even imagine that I could stop the Texas Attorney General’s suit with a freedom of religion defense.  If I hadn’t heard Kent Hovind talk about Creationism in the 1990s, I doubt that I would have realized the spiritual significance of the “man or other animals” phrase found the government’s definitions of “drug,” “food” and “device” in A.D. 2006

Neither Kent nor I had any idea back in the 1990s, that he was helping me to win an important case against the Texas AG–but he was helping me.  That’s so strange because it implies that the Good LORD can plant seeds today, in your life or mine, that may not blossom and bloom for another decade or more.

For me, the lesson of the “man or other animals” phrase that I found in the definitions of “drugs” is that we’re engaged in massive spiritual warfare.  Not many people know of suspect, but that spiritual warfare is going on right now.  The cornerstone of that warfare is the government’s satanic presumption that all of us are merely “animals”.  As such, we have no God-given, unalienable Rights (as declared in the Declaration of Independence).  As “animals” who are presumably not “made in God’s image,” the only thing that distinguishes us from cows, pigs and goats, is the fact that we have rifles, shotguns, pistols and revolvers and we’re capable of shooting the “animals” who currently run our government.  If government can ever trick us into disarming, our distinction from “other animals” will disappear and we’ll be every bit as eligible to driven into a slaughterhouse as any cow, pig or goat.

The whole damnable governmental system is based on the presumption that you and I are animals rather than men and women made in God’s image and endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable Rights.  This is no accident.  This is profound evidence of spiritual warfare and proof that our various disagreements with government are far more than “political”.  The presumption that you and I are animals is supported by the science and logic that back the Theory of Evolution.

The Theory of Evolution isn’t just an interesting “theory” about biology.  It’s a cornerstone for tyranny and the New World Order.  If you are just an animal, you have no significant rights.  Then, the fundamental principle of government is “might makes right“.  The strongest will rule by dint of brute force and violence; the weakest will be ruled over or easily sacrificed.  The natural and logical end for the Theory of Evolution is National Socialism, concentration camps and genocide.

Under the Theory of Evolution none of us have a “right to life”.  Under Creationism, we do have a right to life because we are “made in God’s image” as declared at Genesis 1:26-28 and further illuminated at Genesis 9:6 (the reason you can kill all the animals is because they are not made in God’s image; the reason you can’t lawfully murder a man is that he is made in God’s image).  If you’re not made in God’s image, there is no historical of legal basis for refusing to kill you–except that you might also have a loaded gun.

The point I’m trying to make is that the conflict between Evolution and Creationism is no game.  It is the most profound evidence of spiritual warfare that you are likely to find. Depending on which concept prevails, we will go back to freedom or on to concentration camps.  The conflict between Evolution and Creationism is a life-and-death struggle–and I’m talking about your life (and mine) and your death–and mine.

Our government, at it’s upper echelons at least, understands this struggle.  Most Americans have no idea.  Most Americans would read this article and suppose I’m some sort of lunatic. Most couldn’t currently imagine that the analysis I’m presenting here might be true.

I wonder if Kent Hovind ever fully understood what enormous spiritual forces he was challenging when he spoke out in favor of Creationism.  I wonder if he had any idea of the magnitude of the threat he posed to the government.   Because, as you’ll see in the following video, the government has jumped on Kent with both feet.  Already convicted and sentence to 8 years, Kent is now (while he’s still sitting in prison)  threatened with a new trial, another conviction and life imprisonment.

I wonder if Kent even now understands the enormity of the threat he posed and continues to pose against the US government and New World Order.  Insofar as Kent Hovind threatened to popularize Creationism, he posed a mortal threat to the current system of government.  I doubt that he understood that during his first trial.  I wonder if he understands the magnitude of the threat he poses, even now.

I wonder if he understands how much good he is doing, even while he’s in prison.

I wonder if he fully understands the spiritual warfare that he’s currently waging.  We can all be “called” to act in certain ways, but we are not necessarily “called” to understand why perform those acts other than as service to God.

I expect to ask Kent some of those questions when I interview him this week.  That interview is scheduled to be air on Tuesday night, February 3rd on the American Independence Hour broadcast at at 8PM central time.

In the meantime, here’s a video that explains Kent’s current predicament:

I met Kent Hovind in the 90’s. He is one if the finest, if not the finest, man I met in my almost 70 years.

And you are RIGHT — he is probably the MOST DANGEROUS MAN IN AMERICA.

_*NONE*_ of the clowns in the Ivory Towers will debate him any more. He just tears them to shreds in a disarming manner.

I haven’t followed Kent Hovind and his troubles with the system … but … it appears his punishment is related to his commercial involvements rather than his religious concepts.

It might be that his CONVICTION was based on his commercial “involvement”. But his punishment and penalty may be exaggerated because of his “spiritual” involvement. The man is facing LIFE in prison based on offenses that are, at worst, non-violent. There’s a lot more going on here than mere “commerce”.

As long as Barbara Bush runs the prison commissary system it is ALL about commerce.

    > “Evolution offers a plausible explanation for how life may have changed…”

Well, “plausible” is a subjective term. Some people would use a different subjective term for evolution: “obvious hogwash”. In more objective terms, evolution (of species) is a myth invented by the Priests of Science to separate man from God so they can rule the world.

By “evolution” I mean the transition from one species (reproductive population) to another. This may seem “plausible”. A cartoon of this happening may be easy to imagine. But it is entirely unobserved by actual science.

Actual science has never observed, or even properly described, a physical process by which one species can “change” in such a way as to create a new species that produces its own viable offspring but no longer is able to produce viable offspring with the original species. The few technical exceptions to this rule are all processes that can’t be extended more than a few steps before causing extinction.

The only significant “change” to the genotype of any species observed by actual science has been detrimental change. Newly adaptive traits – i.e. not mere modifications of existing traits (as in strains of wheat, breeds of dog, etc.) – never happen by chance.

hey, guys, “the Lord God formed man of the DUST of the ground and breathed into him the breath of life”. we are TALKING DUST. we are dust that have been given the ability to think and reason and love and talk. and God meant all this ability for good. but the enemy came in and deceived. but, then God the Son came also as Dust and made a redeeming sacrifice of Himself. did you know that as He took on the form of a man, He will always retain the form of a man? yes, but, i think no more of dust but of different substance. but, those who are faithful and believe on Him will be changed and this mortal will put on immortality. we who started out as dust can some day walk with God in the heavens. I’ll look forward to your interview with Kent later this week.

Folks are welcome to spin any kind of theological theory into the mix and there are many of them going around these days. However, Kent’s legal problems are not about religion, they involve his criminal activities of which he has been convicted, indicted, and others not evidenced by the indictments.

If you get a chance, you might mention my name to Kent and see what he might say about your coming in contact with me. We go back aways, and Kent and his people don’t seem to think much of me. I recently defeated Ernie Land, Kent’s right hand man, in a couple of debates regarding Kent’s legal problems ( as archived on ).

If you would like to consider the prospects of discussing one or more specific issues which are commonly misrepresented by Kent and his people, which we might share an interest in discussing, you are welcome to come around one of my places to possibly advance the conversation thereof.

Here’s a link to one of them:

Agree. Am not familiar with the Barbara Bush aspect, but, Commerce, yes, absolutely, and, it is not just an accident, in my opinion, that each & EVERY Birth Certificate is issued from, The Dept. of Commerce. “Issue” is also an interesting word, as in, Government Issue. Also, Issue means, progeny offspring.

@ Fritz “each & EVERY Birth Certificate is issued from, The Dept. of Commerce”

The legal principle is called reification. “Reification generally refers to making something real, bringing something into being, or making something concrete. ” The birth certificate IS the child. The car registration IS the car. The aircraft registration IS the airplane. The body is what is warehoused as surety for the Miller Act bid, performance and payment bonds.

We all have our talents or lack thereof. E.g, We have many different construction trades. An Electrician does not do the work of a Plumber. I’ll help you with your plumbing problems & you help me out with my electrical problems, etc. Then of course we have the “Jack of all trades”. Maybe Bo Gritz could help. I do not have any credibility. STILL, it bothers me that a man of his integrity, Kent Hovind, is where he is & my hands are tied. How is it possible that any one man or woman can know all that needs to be known about everything? You scratch my back & I’ll scratch yours.

      • palani

        January 28, 2015 at 6:15 AM

@ Fritz “it bothers me that a man of his integrity, Kent Hovind, is where he is & my hands are tied”

James Allen “As a Man Thinketh” … Every man is where he is by the law of his being; the thoughts which he has built into his character have brought him there, and in the arrangement of his life there is no element of chance, but all is the result of a law which cannot err. This is just as true of those who feel “out of harmony” with their surroundings as of those who are contented with them.

While this is a law blog little mention is made of these laws which actually control your circumstances. Those laws come from within each man and operate behind the scene on things called actions. Most of what is discussed here can actually be termed ‘hearsay’ with little first hand factual knowledge provided. When you attempt to take on an illusion with real world instruments you end up finding that they really have little effect. Then too there are illusions that should not be taken on. In Kent Hovinds case perhaps the law of his being requires him to proselytize to the population where he is at. Who can say?

As the twig is bent, so grows the tree. When we come to see, if we ever do, that we are bent out of shape, in at least some ways, it takes a while, to get straight, but it appears the straighter we get, the more crooked we are to the enemy, those who have the guns, the dungeons, AND THE MIGHT, & we do know that MIGHT MAKES IT RIGHT, RIGHT?? I betcha Kent knows about & understands some things that we don’t & we may be aware of some things he is not aware of. We need to barter with each other, I believe.

Then you are abusing the “image of God” (your body) that you were entrusted with. That kind of self-abuse is a kind of blasphemy.

Drug and alcohol abuse are something like “suicide lite”. A suicide doesn’t only kill himself. He also kills the “image of God” (his body) that he was entrusted with and expected to protect and nourish.

Suicide is the ultimate insult and expression of contempt for God. You destroy your own “image of God”. That’s why churches, historically, did not allow suicides to be buried in the “hallowed ground” that they used for cemeteries for the faithful.

Keep drinking, keep smoking, keep on expressing your contempt for your body, your “image of God,” and God, Himself and see what happens. This kind of persistent abuse of your own body will generally lead to a death that is early and often painful (cancer, for example).

Insofar as you really like drugs and alcohol, then you long for death–especially your own.

Creationism is now slowly being, but in truth has always been seen by the greatest of each generation and its based upon the logical understanding of the physical facts of the evidence that is showing what is the correct answer, but unless your an atheists which means one of very little true logic, with a dash of ignorance, which gives one a blind intelligence, with lower unreasoning abilities by the lack of ones own lack of understanding of all the facts from both sides, and a rebellion of the real truth. to which is why evil is apart of every human being thinking. Of course Governments do not like religion as it makes one harder to control and not as easy to be led down the garden path, Atheism creates the prefect dumb down sheep into a goat stubborn in realizing the truth, but blind and controllable slave to the system.

Break the peoples belief that there is a savor and a creator and the sheep will follow who ever is over them, and the education system controlled by government who are basically run by atheists is the key to produce generations without true morals, and good values, thereby producing slaves, manageable and ignorant of the real truth.

Only a few know the truth, made up of both Good people and even the bad people who happen to be in power, but the rest of you will know the truth after its done. if I am wrong I do not lose anything, but if your wrong you lose badly.

“Miracles” the term miracle is used when one does not understand how it was done, are you really that unintelligent now with all that mans knowledge and logical thinking you can not understand how something was created, we all know that all matter, space and time came from the energy of light, matter by slowing down the particles of light to produce gas, and most all the matter and the rest from inside of stars are these Miracles yes to you the ignorant, the ability to heal by the touch or by ones own thoughts, yes you would class these as anyone believing in a miracle, and only shows your lack of understanding also as to how it was done by the knowledge that one has attained in ones life, it only then thereby labeling your self as ignorant. ( One without the knowledge to the question then how can one then understand the answer )

As man creates though his intelligence of understanding, a greater creator made the universe, and all life in it, and the easy part was, that we were told, and that gave us the quest to find out the truth, while others see a danger to there rule of the ignorant, if you cant wipe it out then work to mislead it. I don’t need to argue the truth here or anywhere, with anyone, all I can do is make people think and know there is truth out their but its up to you and no else to find it, read, understand it, if you cant then you are missing information. the more information the better the understanding becomes. Of course the result will be something you are not at the moment to accept, but the more you uncover, the closer to the truth you shall be.

But the point is how can you educate man if he was but like the animals, they don’t have the higher intelligent brain functions as man has, and was given by his DNA if it was not given in the first place to have to separate him from the animals.

I watched this video yesterday on, “Are the Jews alien Lizards?”

Now before someone jumps on the racist boat, I want to point out I am not a racist, as I respect all people. I must also add, I don’t agree with all the facts this individual brings up in this video, but he makes some strong connections of facts. After reading one of Al’s old article’s about man being classified as an “animal” by legal entities, in the phrase “man and other animals,” I had wondered where did the origin of this theory come from. Then yesterday, I stumbled upon this video maybe a coincidence, so I thought I share what I found. Anyway, the subject of “man and other animals” seems to be the subject of the “alien Jew” not the real Jewish people, as Jesus was a Jew, but maybe the real alien/demon, that has crept into our world to deceive mankind (anti-Christ) and take over the world for himself/themselves. What I found interesting in this video, is man is referred to as “beast.” I then went on to research the source he mentions which he refers to the false Jew, The Learned Elders of Zion (1886) and then to the Protocols of Zion, which you can google search, and if you watch and read these materials as if “it is off world,” it starts to make sense.

Could this be the alien agenda for mankind? This protocol seems to target everyone, and everything including our banking system, government, etc.. not any specific race of people, just the termination of mankind, so they can take over our planet. When you read over this protocol, it leaves the reader with some serious concern, or at least it did me.There is literature out on the net that says its a fake document, its not a verified or valid document, but ask yourself what is going on in our world today, and if its a secret society, how can you verify it? I had never heard of this protocol before, but just as in the movie “They Live” with Roddy Piper, there is a more sinister agenda going on behind the scene. When logic or justice doesn’t make sense, what else can explain the current state of affairs in our world and our court systems?

Al, it’s important to note that they’re also going after Paul J. Hansen, whom I believe you’ve also interviewed on your show. Here’s the indictment, which is an absolute JOKE:

They’re going after them for (allegedly) trying to lawfully protect Kent’s property and using the U.S. mail to do it. Gasp! Oh, the humanity. (Quite frankly, SHAME on the grand jury that returned this indictment). “The government” (whoever that is) is obviously very AFRAID of these two, meaning they are effective. Is anyone letting these folks know “We the People” recognize a bogus prosecution when we see one?

@ “……………SHAME on the grand jury that returned this indictment).”
The so called “grand jury” we have today, is really a “board of inquiry” & nothing more.

That’s essentially my point: The government’s attack on Hovind and Hansen are evidence that those two defendants have done “something” very powerful. They may not know what they’ve done. They may not have done whatever-it-is perfectly. They may not understand the implications of what they’ve done, but they’ve done “something” that’s frightened government so badly, government has over-reacted to a shocking degree.

But government’s over-reaction is stupid. By “over-reacting” to Hovind and Hansen, they call attention to Hovind and Hansen and thereby call attention to whatever “powerful something” that Hovin and Hansen have done or at least come close to doing.

In the final analysis, how many people have been inspired by Hovind’s (and Hansen’s) tribulation to consider Creationism and even begun to realize that, OMG!, Creationism might be more rational than Evolution?

Government’s over-reaction to Hovind may serve an implicit endorsement for Creationism.

The satanic “beasts” that run many of the world’s governments may be extremely powerful and dangerous but they really aren’t that bright. They are, at bottom, self-destructive. Suicidal. They many long to kill, but they also long to die. They’ll get their wish. They’re not necessarily unintelligent, but they are, just the same, stupid.

    Good points…
I’ve known Kent for many years now and am convinced that he has been targeted by Satan’s system because he was actually putting dents in his kingdom…
Ministries like ICR and AIG do make good points of debate, but Kent was changing laws and worldviews…
He’s the closest to an apostle I’ve seen in todays evil world…

If your faith tells you that will be rewarded and/or punished in the after life for actions that you take in this life, then you will act accordingly. The American principle that governments are instituted to secure the unalienable rights of each man and woman is a faith statement. You may follow a set of rules that are derived by your faith but the American principle prevents you from forcing your views on others.

There is an alternative faith statement widely held by some of the people around you: There should be a separation of church and state. When the state is your church, it is appropriate to prevent other churches from interfering with the one true religion – Corporatism. While you may not force your views on others, the high priests of the corporatist religion do not see themselves bound by that doctrine.

Each cop, doctor, psychiatrist, judge, lawyer, and bureaucrat has been indoctrinated into a belief that make them think that their actions are not only reasonable but appropriate. They have spent time and money to learn their “profession”. They don’t call their religion a religion. They call it a reasoned approach to civilization. They see your religion as unreasonable.

A cop may shoot you if he thinks that you are a law breaker. This is especially true when they form groups and dress like Darth Vader. The laws may be consistent with the American principle, preventing one from violating the rights of others (killing, raping, stealing,…) or not, (preventing a person who is not violating the rights of others from pursuing their happiness).

A doctor may presume that you are an idiot that cannot make enlightened decisions to manage your life. They may convince you to take pharmaceuticals and medical procedures that are harmful to you. Their training has told them that non-allopathic methodologies are primitive.

A psychiatrist may commit you to an asylum and force mind altering drugs into you if you do not think like they do.

A judge may nudge people who haven’t violated anyone’s rights into a cage where they can be anally raped. They have to use a complicated process to get this done. If you are accused of self medicating, or not contributing to the dysfunctional state church (taxes), or not getting your children indoctrinated into the state church, or a dozen other infractions of rules that you did not agree to, he/she will help pick 12 people who are too stupid to get off of jury duty so that they will rubber stamp whatever the judge decides.

The legal system has been made so complicated and the American people have been so dumbed down that a legal priesthood has arisen to fill the void. Lawyers first duty is to the court then to the bar then to you. If he/she uses a defense that the judge does not think appropriate, the attorney may be disbarred. This control mechanism is in place to prevent you from asserting your rights.

Bureaucrats follow the rules that they have been indoctrinated with. They will use the excuse that that they didn’t make the rules they are only following orders.

Americans in general, including the members of the corporatists state religion, are nominally, Christian or Jews. There is a conflict in their belief systems. America is the land of the free and home of the brave where you can’t fight city hall. Either the government is your servant or your master. The “man or other animal” line of reasoning is tool that may cause them to loose confidence (faith) in the corporatist religion. If you don’t challenge them, they will presume that they are obviously correct in their treatment of you.

If only Kent could get in touch with Eric Madsen of Team Law ( – I truly believe that Eric could help him. I am sure that it could not make his situation any worse!

And, as far as the requirement that someone who wants to review their situation with Team Law first has to be a “beneficiary” of Team Law, I have called their office and said that if they have any opportunity to help Kent Hovind, that I will so nominate him.

If you are interested in greatly expanding your understanding of life and spiritual truth, study and contemplate in the book of Nature, and in The Book: seeds, soil, trees, plants, fruit, harvests and also the sun, moon, stars and rain. Your eyes will be opened and you will be astonished. You’ll never see things the same way again…

Based on the Law of the of the Old Testament Yahweh always go before his people in battle and assures the victory. I don’t know of anyone who embraces this concept. It is essential to be obedient to the Law otherwise forget any victories in battle. Start reading the Law and the Prophets and mold your mind in a manner foreign to consensus mindset.
