Trump vs. McCain

I’ve been delighted by Donald Trump’s candidacy for the presidency.  His blunt, take-no-prisoners style of speaking is exciting.  Somebody is trying to tell the truth.  By telling the truth himself, Trump is forcing other candidates to do the same.

From the beginning of Trump’s campaign (two weeks ago?), I though that the major danger was that the outspoken Trump would make a brash remark that was both outrageous and false and thereby expose himself as something of a buffoon.  Once he made that one stupid remark, the opposing candidates and mainstream news media would never let him or the public forget it.  His candidacy might be ruined.

Last week, when Trump first challenged Senator John McCain’s status as a Viet Nam war hero, my first reaction was “Oh, crap–Trump has already lost it and made that fatal, brash remark. He was doing so well with the illegal aliens–why’d he have to open a second front in his campaign by criticizing McCain?”

In fact, Trump’s statements about McCain were fairly mild.  As seen in the following video, Trump didn’t call McCain out.  He just made a couple of offhand remarks.  One of which–that McCain was a Viet Nam war “hero” only because he was captured–must’ve rumpled the feathers of other soldiers who’d also been captured in Viet Nam.  From a political perspective, although Trump’s comment about McCain was true, it was politically incorrect and not evidence of the sort of political genius we associate with Bill Clinton—which is probably good, but still . . . .

Anyway, here’s a 3 minute video of Trump’s comments on McCain:

I’ve never liked McCain.  He’s always rubbed me the wrong way.  I never had any evidence to justify my dislike–at least not until he ran for president against Obama in A.D. 2008 and he and the Republican Party failed to use any of the evidence that Obama wasn’t a native-born American eligible to be President. McCain didn’t lose the election; he gave it away.  By failing to raise the eligibility issue, both McCain and the leadership of the Republican Party impressed me as being complicit in a conspiracy to get non-American globalists elected to the White House to wreak havoc on this nation.

Even so, McCain is a political icon and Trump didn’t seem to show good judgement in bringing up McCain’s Viet Nam record.

However, today, for the first time, I saw the next video.  It was first published on YouTube in A.D. 2012 but may have been produced ten to thirty years earlier.  The video expresses a point of view that I wasn’t aware of:  some Viet Nam POW’s hate McCain, claim he received “special treatment” from the North Vietnamese, denied that he was ever tortured and claim he made nearly two dozen pro-North Viet Nam propaganda films.  If the claims are true, McCain was more traitor than hero.

More, McCain’s subsequent activities in Congress and the Senate on behalf of veterans seem more like betrayal than support.  If this next video is true, John McCain is more “Manchurian Candidate” than Viet Nam martyr.

It’s also interesting to see that John Kerry (our current Secretary of State) is linked to McCain in this video.  We seem to have self-serving, treasonous globalists at every level of government.

video  00:10:39

Apparently, Trump’s offhand comments on John McCain (and the mainstream media’s initial over-reaction)  may have inadvertently stirred up a nest of hornets that will only sting McCain.

I like that.

Without meaning to do so, Trump’s shoot-from-the-hip candor may have exposed McCain to some of the retribution that he’s avoided for most of forty years.

Hmph.  Some small measure of justice may be reaching McCain.  It’s almost like Bill Cosby, who–after years of raping women and clowning around as America’s favorite dad (Dr. Cliff Huxtable)–is finally being exposed for what he is.

How odd.  It’s almost as if the Good LORD is beginning to implement some semblance of justice in this world.

I won’t claim that’s true–at least, not yet.  But if there were some more public justice imposed on some other major American frauds (like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama), I’d have to admit that it looks like the Good LORD had finally had enough of the lies and was rousing Himself to act.

As for Trump, he’s still good to go.  I don’t necessary hope Trump will win.  But I sure hope the rest of them will lose.

Trump appears to be the first honest candidate we’ve had for President since Ron Paul.  The difference between them is that Paul had great ideas and a weak, whiny persona; Trump has good ideas with a strong, aggressive persona.

If he doesn’t say something really stupid, and if his hairpiece doesn’t blow off in public, Trump could win.

In my opinion, so did Alabama Governor George Wallace. I liked Governor Wallace too.

Trump is a blowhard, bully. He does have some good ideas, but he has no diplomacy of which there must at least some when dealing with other nations. However, I would welcome a ‘we first’ policy when it comes to America’s needs, so perhaps he might be able to avoid much of that. However, if he’s not careful he could accelerate our ‘ruin’ if other nations creditors call in the loans if he treats them with disrespect.

He SHOULD be ‘promising’ that the debt GovCo has accumulated will NOT be paid by the savings of Americans of whom most are not directly responsible for the debt, and of whom will subsequently panic (and perish or revolt) in the midst of a credit/debt collapse. It’s coming, for sure. I believe this based on current and historical indicators that many economists (not in the MSM media of course) are assessing this on.

I want someone who will let me keep my labor which GovCo has no real stake in (other than the coercive W-4 and it’s admission of “wages” that GovCo has ‘suggested’ that private companies ‘request’ of you); and, if I invest outside the U.S. I am also under the FATCA law which says GovCo has stake in those investments also. And I don’t want GovCo constantly meddling/controlling my private life or presuming that if I am disappointed with the government that I am instantly branded a ‘terrorist’ or ‘traitor’. Rand Paul agrees to a point, though he does not go far enough. What he SHOULD say about “income” taxes is that it’s BS and the tax code is written mostly for foreign-based companies residing in the U.S. and not for average Americans working for U.S.-based companies. But he’ll never do that. No one will. It would expose the scam that’s been going on since 1943.

I’m a Libertarian that sometimes (rarely, actually) sees merit on both sides of the inherently-divisive 2-party system of crap. I’d vote for Rand Paul because he might be the closest I can get to what I consider the ‘true America’ or a closer facsimile. If Trump has a clear lead in the GOP polls and is close with that scumhag (new term?) Clinton, then I’d reluctantly vote for Trump so that scumhag couldn’t further take my rights away. But I’d still be concerned with Trump and his bluster. He’s a loose cannon and surely a megalomaniac. To wit, the definition…

        1882 (n.), 1883 (adj.), from megalomania (q.v.).

The megalomaniac differs from the narcissist by the fact that he wishes to be powerful rather than charming, and seeks to be feared rather than loved. To this type belong many lunatics and most of the great men of history. [Bertrand Russell, “The Conquest of Happiness”]

Good catch there, Cody. This news about Trump is most troubling.

One has to wonder if Trump remains a “big fan of Hillary” even today. If so, then his run for President could simply be a ploy to throw the win to Hillary. How could he do that? The same way it was done in 1992. Trump could run as an independent and split the Republican vote, thus playing the same trick for Hillary that Ross Perot played for her husband Billy.

Right Cody. It’s easy to get distracted isn’t it? Do not put your hope in any man.Psalm 146:3; Isaiah 2:22. If any man really wanted to do what is morally right, he would not last long, the way things are, so I don’t see how any man with any sense would want to be President. IF WE are going to change anything, it will have to be changed at the County Level, where the roots are.We need to stand up, but, we need to stand up in the right place & even there, we will probably take a fall. BUT, From there, we will be raised up again, &, never to fall anymore. I say the answer is in what Jonathan Cahn says. Did you see that Video & hear what he said? It’s less than 10 minutes & he sure says a lot, & everything that should & needs to be said.

Any man set apart to humbly, freely, but boldly speak the words of truth to a multitude, knowing that those truths will root out, pull down, destroy; yet build and plant at the same time, just might be a “prophet” (Jeremiah 1).

In every case, it is the Almighty himself who acts and hastens to perform the visible outcome of those words of truth, and all can be witness to the matter. After many years of reading this blog I believe that I and all truth seekers are blest and profited by such a faithful minister we find here. Such men are few and far between.

Jesus said (Matt. 7): “Beware of false prophets which come to you. They are ravening wolves in sheep’s clothing. Ye shall KNOW them by their fruits.”

Seems to me that these statements require our obedience in arriving at some important distinctions.

@ Such men are few and far between.
I agree with you 100%. ok, so if a “Watchman on the Wall” is aka a Prophet, You are right. I always stand to be corrected but my understanding of a Watchman on the Wall Is one who warns people of impending dangers approaching that he is able to see, whereas, other people may not, or, do not see. To me, a Prophet is someone who foretells of future events that will most certainly occur and exactly as prophesied.Did you “hear” the Jonathan Cahn video? If,so,what are your thoughts?

I am not very familiar with Jonathan Cahn, but I do find it a bit strange and unusual that Wikipedia tells very little regarding his birthplace, family, and work experience. It reports no schooling or connections to any Protestant or Catholic institution or person, but does report that Cahn only attended the liberal arts (did not graduate) Purchase College in New York, founded by Nelson Rockefeller in 1967. This college is known for “expanding your mind in a creative way.” Also, the report does not reveal how or where Cahn became a “licensed minister” (1989) nor under what authority. And, apparently a man can become a “rabbi” if he has three others “lay on their hands” and declare it so….and the three do not even have to be present together in the same room.

It appears that the sale of Cahn’s many books is bringing in plenty of frns. Also, Google (Amazon) mentions a “Michael A. Brown” in connection to Cahn’s published books. Michael A. Brown is President and CEO of the world’s LEADING SECURITY FIRM (Symantec), which profits billions from the continued terror and scare perpetrated upon the American people. Now isn’t that thought-provoking!

      Good points, Peg.

Jonathan Cahn’s connection to the Rockefeller cultural-revolution factory is telling. Most of the flakey nonsense we get from this well-financed machine of social change is New Age mumbo jumbo, though as you see they also venture into non-scriptural forms of pseudo-Christianity. As with most revolutionary movements, they aim low in recruitment. Their usual target audience consists of spiritually blind fools, narcissistic misfits and the mentally ill: types who already dwell in a world that’s mostly flakey nonsense anyway, which is why The Harbinger can be marketed as “prophesy” despite the publisher’s obligation to clearly label it as fiction.

Okay, I went to YouTube and was willing to get a closer look at this Kahn fellow. I pulled up another video in which he proclaims:

“foreign enemies attacked the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon in D.C.”
“alarm horns/sirens went off in New York two hours prior to the Twin Towers attack.”

while portraying the scene of the large unmarked plane disappearing into the Tower as if the Tower was made of jello (an impossibility….i.e. a hologram).

These might be clues by which I, personally, can dismiss Kahn’s claim to fame and fortune; however, I will continue to do some research.

    • Henry

      July 29, 2015 at 7:38 PM

Even if the twin towers were made of jello, real planes would not have disappeared into them as shown in the cartoons passed off as “news” on 9/11. Not even planes crashing into water disappear like that. If a plane flying nose-first at high speed into the ocean (of which there is abundant film footage) mostly bounces off and stays at the surface for a moment before sinking, a plane crashing into steel is guaranteed to bounce as well rather than magically disappear into it.

And the Boeing passenger jets we’re supposed to believe crashed into the twin towers can’t fly anywhere near the claimed speed at sea level. The airframes and engines of those planes do that kind of airspeed at cruising altitudes over 30,000 ft. where the air is 1/3 as dense. But the planes weren’t holograms (at least because no such technology is in evidence); they were photoshoped into legitimate footage of exploding buildings without airplanes. By coincidence, nearly all the supposed “live witnesses” to planes hitting buildings happened to be executives and similarly placed employees of the MSM. Other witnesses, who may have seen aircraft of some sort that day, didn’t see them crash into anything.
